Openx Wins Ad Net Zero Sustainability Award
Leading ad exchange takes award in sustainability best practices for ad tech category.
PASADENA, Calif., December 6, 2022 – OpenX Technologies, Inc., a leading global omnichannel advertising exchange, was announced as a winner in the first Campaign Ad Net Zero awards highlighting environmental sustainability in the advertising industry at a ceremony in London on November 23. OpenX was recognized in the “sustainability best practice” category for its “Path to Net-Zero,” an initiative in which the company reduced carbon emissions by more than 90% and achieved independent certification as a carbon neutral company. The awards launched earlier this year under a partnership between Campaign magazine and Ad Net Zero, a cross-industry alliance of UK advertising and media organizations that have pledged to reduce and offset carbon emissions in the sector by 2030.
OpenX is one of 21 winners announced across a variety of categories highlighting leadership in sustainability across advertisers, agencies, media owners and technology companies.

This award marks the third industry award win for OpenX’s “Path to Net-Zero” initiative. Previous awards recognizing the work include Business Intelligence’s “Sustainability Leadership Award” and ExchangeWire’s “The Wires” award in the category of “Best Application of ESG.”
