OpenX Ranks #1 in Both Web and Mobile App Inventory Quality in the World’s Largest Programmatic Market
LOS ANGELES and NEW YORK – MAY 12, 2016 – OpenX, a global leader in creating programmatic advertising marketplaces that drive superior monetization for publishers, today announced that it has regained the top spot on Pixalate’s Global Seller Trust Index for April 2016 as the highest quality, most trusted marketplace for digital inventory in the United States. The April 2016 Index ranks OpenX as #1 for U.S. web inventory and, for the first time, #1 in mobile app inventory. OpenX also placed in the top three sources of quality supply in international markets.
In 2015, OpenX held the #1 spot on the Seller Trust Index for web inventory for six consecutive months, the most of any company in the industry. Pixalate’s Global Seller Trust Index is the industry’s first independent quality rating for programmatic advertising. Traffic quality has been a cornerstone of the OpenX ad exchange since 2012 when OpenX led the industry in an ongoing campaign to eliminate fraud in programmatic advertising.

The monthly Pixalate Global Seller Trust Index is based on analysis of more than 100 billion monthly impressions. Global quality ratings take a variety of metrics into consideration, including overall effectiveness assessing fraud, viewability, malware, engagement, domain masking and inventory scores.
