AdMonsters Announces OpenX as Sponsor of Inaugural OPS Conference

OpenX CTO John Linden to address conference in ‘The Power of Revenue Serving’ session

NEW YORK and PASADENA, Calif., September 24, 2010 AdMonsters, the global community of ad operations and technology leaders, today announced OpenX Technologies, Inc. (OpenX), the world’s leading independent provider of digital advertising technology, as the latest sponsor of OPS, a new one day event to be held in New York on September 30, 2010. AdMonsters also announced that OpenX Chief Technology Officer John Linden will address the conference in a session entitled, The Power of Revenue Serving.

OPS is a direct response to the growing need for leaders in the industry to learn more about how to transform online ad operations into a greater source of profit. As with all AdMonsters events, OPS will feature a highly focused agenda and attendees will leave with tangible, practical, and pragmatic solutions that can be implemented immediately.

During his session, Linden will review the most significant challenges facing publishers today, and why the old approach to managing advertising doesn’t work in today’s dynamic market. In particular, he will explain how the industry needs a smarter approach that replaces static ad serving with “revenue serving,” enabling publishers to automatically maximize their direct and indirect revenue on one platform. He will also share his view of how the industry needs a global ad exchange powered by established regional media players to provide a viable, scalable and independent alternative display platform.

“The operational systems behind online advertising are becoming the backbone of the entire media industry. While business managers know that operations is the key to profitability, many of those same managers don’t understand the key issues in operations. OPS builds upon everything AdMonsters has been doing for the past ten years and opens the door on ad operations to everyone in the industry,” says Bowen Dwelle, AdMonsters founder and CEO.

“We’re extremely pleased to sponsor the AdMonsters inaugural OPS event,” said John Linden, chief technology officer, OpenX. “And we’re excited to have the opportunity to interact with the engaged audience of publishers that AdMonsters always assembles for its conferences.”

The agenda for OPS will also include a keynote from Gordon McLeod, President of The Wall Street Journal Digital Network entitled The Death of the Trafficker. A second keynote entitled When will Online Advertising Evolve will also be presented by Edward Montes, Executive Vice President, Managing Director of Havas Media U.S. There will
