At Cannes, OpenX hosted a technology-focused panel on the future of privacy infrastructure in digital advertising, examining the evolving roles of data clean rooms, containers, and interoperable adtech solutions. Moderated by Stephanie Layser, Global Head of Publisher Ad Tech Solutions at AWS, the discussion featured perspectives from Oleg Korenfeld, Group President, Technology and Platforms at CMI Media Group; Daniella Harkins, Senior Vice President, Go To Market at LiveRamp; Ravi Patel, CEO of SWYM; and Joel Meyer, CTO at OpenX.

The conversation explored how clean rooms and containers solve different but connected challenges across programmatic advertising, including data collaboration, audience activation, and measurement. Panelists discussed clean rooms as a way to enable data collaboration with strict privacy controls, insights, and multi-party measurement, while containers were framed as a faster execution layer that can bring a brand’s custom decisioning closer to the bidstream.
