OpenX is seeking an Events Marketing Manager who will support the events marketing team to help execute our events and marketing strategy. We are looking for a team player that is poised under pressure, organized and able to anticipate various needs for different events. 
This person will be responsible for supporting the events marketing strategy, helping to expand the OpenX brand through internal and external events. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support event logistics through every stage of the planning process 
  • Vendor contract and form coordination 
  • Attendee and staff registration 
  • Shipping supplies 
  • Post event reporting 
  • Invoicing 
  • Manage and maintain documents between vendors and internal accounts payable team 
  • Build relationships with clients, both internal and external 
  • Work within OpenX brand guidelines to ensure consistent branding 
  • Collaborate with marketing team to create event specific landing pages and optimize user experience
  • Manage and update external events calendar on OpenX website 
  • Manage internal OpenX events calendar to ensure transparency throughout departments on all upcoming event involvement and responsibility 
  • Coordinate and monitor event timelines and ensure deadlines are met
  • Collaborate on event sponsorships and deliverables
  • Organize and manage events marketing supply closet 

Required Qualifications: 

  • Understanding of the advertising technology industry with a focus on programmatic marketplaces
  • BA/BS in Communications, Marketing or related field required
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in events, hospitality, marketing or PR 
  • Demonstrated experience researching and identifying new venue locations and event opportunities 
  • Experience in event management technology (SmartSheet a plus); strong vendor management skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (for internal and external audiences)
  • Creative problem solving skills to create meaningful experiences 
  • Travel and some work on weekends/after work hours should be expected
