OPENX NAMED SIIA CONTENT CODiE AWARD FINALIST FOR BEST ADVERTISING MANAGEMENT PLATFORM

OpenX’s Comprehensive Digital Revenue Platform Earns Prestigious Technology Industry Recognition

WASHINGTON, D.C. AND LOS ANGELES, December 20, 2012 OpenX Software Ltd. (OpenX), one of the world’s leading providers of digital and mobile advertising technology products and services, today announced that its comprehensive digital revenue platform has been named a finalist for the 2013 Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) Content CODiE Award for Best Advertising Management Platform.

Serving as the preeminent awards program for the software and information industries, the SIIA CODiE Awards have been honoring excellence for 27 years. This year’s program has 75 categories organized by industry focus in Content, Education and Software. The Best Advertising Management Platform category for which OpenX was nominated is a new category that recognizes excellence in solutions that monetize web, mobile, apps, and other inventory.

OpenX’s SaaS-based, digital revenue platform combines ad serving, an ad exchange, a Supply-Side Platform and content optimization. OpenX Enterprise maximizes ad revenue by optimizing all ad revenue channels in one place. OpenX Market provides comprehensive access to the entire universe of real-time buyers. OpenX Lift significantly increases publisher revenue by being the first and only yield optimization technology to work completely within a publisher’s ad server. JumpTime, the newest component of OpenX’s platform, deploys patented technology to help publishers calculate the financial value of their content assets in real-time and optimizes revenue by increasing user engagement with the most valuable content. In combination, these products provide a unique, multi-screen ad revenue maximization solution for digital media companies.

“We’re thrilled to be named a finalist for the 2013 CODiE Award for Best Advertising Management Platform,” said Tim Cadogan, chief executive officer, OpenX. “OpenX’s core mission is to help publishers increase their ad revenue through innovative technology solutions. We’ve worked extremely hard and fast to build a massively scaled, innovative technology platform to support this mission and we’re delighted to receive this prestigious recognition from our peers in the software industry.”

“The CODiE Awards competition was extremely competitive this year with a record number of innovative products and solutions competing,” said Kathy Greenler Sexton, content division vice president, Software & Information Industry Association. “The Best Advertising Management Platform category recognizes platforms that are the lifeblood of media, publishers and information providers. We were excited to see such creative and effective solutions nominated and become finalists in this new category.”

Finalists in the Content categories represent the best products, technologies, and services created by or for media, publishers, and information services providers. CODiE Award winners will be announced during a special luncheon on January 31 in New York City during the SIIA’s annual flagship conference for information industry leaders, IIS 2013: Breakthrough.
