OpenX and Graphiq Expand Relationship With Header Bidding

Increased Demand Drives Significant Revenue Lift

Los Angeles and New York – December 1, 2015– OpenX, a leader in creating programmatic advertising marketplaces, and Graphiq, formerly FindTheBest, the leading operator of vertical search engines and provider of interactive data visualizations, are excited to announce an expanded relationship with the integration of header bidding into Graphiq’s monetization strategy. The OpenX header bidding solution exposes each impression to maximum demand, thereby increasing competition and helping publishers realize the true value of every impression in real time. On average, publishers using the OpenX header bidding technology see a 35 percent lift in revenue.

Graphiq integrated OpenX Bidder as part of its digital advertising strategy on all its vertical search engine properties to boost programmatic revenues across desktop and mobile web. The OpenX Bidder integration yields CPMs approximately 35 percent higher than their network-wide average, and with the integration, OpenX is now Graphiq’s largest header partner, accounting for 30 percent of total exchange-based revenue.

“One of the biggest wins for us in the digital advertising space has been the demand diversification that header bidding has brought to the table. OpenX has been a strategic and trusted revenue source for us, providing new and innovative solutions to help us monetize our inventory and stay ahead of the curve,” said Cory Wheeler, Head of Programmatic Advertising at Graphiq. “Due to the increase in competition for our inventory, we’ve seen a 30-40 percent increase in CPMs, which has allowed us to test new channels and significantly scale our business.”

Qasim Saifee, SVP of Monetization at OpenX said, “At OpenX we believe all demand should compete fairly, meaning that one partner should not get priority at the expense of publisher yield. Graphiq is a leading example of a premium publisher that significantly increased the sophistication of its monetization strategy with the integration of header bidding. On average, the winning OpenX CPM outperforms the incumbent by 59 percent. Given the maturity of our bidder product, we are confident that we can consistently beat the competition in providing value and lift for our clients.”
