OpenX Announces Major Ad Server Update
OpenX today announced the launch of version 2.6, a major update to its free, open source software. The release contains dozens of new features, including a new application programming interface (API), a dashboard and a faster ad tag.

Openads Closes $15.5 Million Series B Funding Led By Accel Partners
Openads, the developer of the free, open source ad server now used by more than 30,000 publishers worldwide, today announced the completion of its Series B financing. The $15.5 million investment was led by Accel Partners, with participation from existing investors Index Ventures, First Round Capital, Mangrove Capital Partners and O’Reilly AlphaTech Ventures. The company will use the funds to accelerate product development and expand its team to support its large publisher community, which is now using Openads to deliver billions of ads daily in over 100 countries around the world.
Openads Secures $5 Million Series A Financing From Leading European Venture Capitalists
Openads, the developer of a free, open source adserver designed for and used by publishers worldwide, secured a $5 million Series A financing led by Index Ventures, with participation from First Round Capital, Mangrove Capital Partners, and O’Reilly AlphaTech Ventures. The London-based company plans to use the funds to accelerate product development and expand its team.
