Statistics

OpenX provides a wide range of statistics to help gauge the effectiveness of specific advertising campaigns, and the performance of indivdual ads within those campaigns. Statistics are gathered each time the maintenance script runs.

Selecting the Statistics tab will show you the figures for today (the default setting):

The dropdown tab offers several options for the dates you view, and by selecting Specific dates you can enter dates in the fields provided.

There are four options:

  • Advertisers & Campaigns [default view]
  • Global History
  • Websites & Zones
  • Advanced Reports

For each advertiser and website you can view some or all of the following categories:

  • Impressions
  • Clicks
  • Conversions
  • CTR (click through ratio)
  • Revenue
  • ECPM (effective revenue per thousand impressions)

When you click on specific advertisers, campaigns or websites, additional tabs are displayed which provide more detailed statistics. Some tabs include the options Export statistics to Excel.

Note: All statistics refer to figures compiled since you originally defined each advertiser or publisher.

Note: Impressions that are generated by known spiders and robots have been filtered from all reports presented in OpenX Hosted in accordance with Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) guidelines.
