OpenX 2.8 introduces a plugin framework that can be deployed by OpenX to provide extended functionality. A plugin is defined by an XML format file, and its elements are packaged in a compressed (zip) file.
Plugins can only be installed/uninstalled and enabled/disabled by administrators.
