Global settings - user interface

Go to Configuration > Global Settings > User Interface. From this page you can control various aspects of the user interface and SSL settings.

When logged in as an administrator, if you disable the User Interface and then Save Changes, you will not be able to re-enable the user interface. If you find yourself experiencing this problem, please refer to this FAQ to resolve it.

General Settings:

  • User Interface Enabled: the user interface is enabled by default.
  • Application Name: enter your chosen name for this application.
  • Header File Location: enter the location of a header file to use.
  • Footer File Location: enter the location of a footer file to use.
  • Name of custom logo file: enter the name of a logo file to use.
  • Color of the header foreground: specify the color of the header foreground.
  • Color of the header background: specify the color of the header background.
  • Color of the active tab: specify the color of active tabs.
  • Color of the text in the header: specify the color of the text in the header.
  • Use GZIP Content Compression: the use of GZIP Compression is enabled by default.

SSL Settings:

  • Force SSL Access on User Interface: check this box to enforce the use of SSL when using the administrator interface.
  • SSL Port Used by Web Server: specify the port used by the web server.

Dashboard Settings:

  • Enable dashboard: the dashboard is enabled by default. To disable it, uncheck the checkbox.

When you have completed editing your settings, click Save Changes.
